I just tried to read the first Newsweek Magazine that came out with its new visual makeover (May 25, 2009 Newsweek) and I find it absolutely visually unreadable. It looks like one of these magazines you find in a Doctors Office or An Airline where the Ads look exactly the same as articles. I am now going to switch to Time Magazine assuming it hasn’t changed its visual make up since the last time I read it years ago. I always love it when if something isn’t broken and its fixed anyway and its worse. I’m guessing some new employee or someone who was promoted wanted to impress their boss and implemented these changes. That’s how these things usually go. If you can read Newsweek in this format go ahead. I can’t.
